Bringing “Golden Opus” from Singapore to New Zealand during a pandemic added extra challenges for provisioning and concerns about how to safely stop for fuel on the Australian coast.

Example of a brief report from “Golden Opus” en route — “All OK, weather harsh, few running repairs.” This was followed by another message “…strong winds on the nose very wet and looks like we will have to motor down inside the reef when we get to Queensland….”

Happy to hear reports that although “Golden Opus” is traveling against the wind, there is good daily progress.
