This RHD, 90 foot Ketch returned to New Zealand’s Bay Of Islands, where ‘Tawera‘ convincingly won all three races to take the 2017 Millennium Cup.
In one of the Worlds most attractive regatta locations, under sunny skies and light to moderate winds, ‘Tawera‘ performed very well. Owner Mike Mahoney on the helm and Chris Dickson calling strategy and tactics, the crew of ‘Tawera‘ including Ron Holland on mizzen sheet put on a flawless exhibition to dominate the regatta.
