Wooden yachts still win. The 33 foot ‘Spirit’ was the smallest yacht to race to Tahiti back in 1970, with a 22 year old Ron Holland in the crew. Now in 2017, ‘Spirit’ has won the San Francisco Master Mariners Regatta.

Skippered by George Kiskaddon Jr in this race, and who at 17 yeas of age was aboard for the 1970 Tahiti Race. George has once again proven just how special this little S&S design is.
