The aluminium hull of the first of two in the new generation of 60m sailing yachts sold by Perini Navi has been turned at the Perini Istanbul-Yildiz shipyard. The Ron Holland designed hull guarantees speed, extreme comfort and ample living spaces, both indoors and outdoors and is the natural evolution of the 56m series.
The hull will soon be transferred to the Perini Navi Viareggio shipyard for outfitting, scheduled to be completed for delivery in early summer 2013.
The ketch designed by Perini Navi, in collaboration with Ron Holland Design, will also be the first vessel equiped with new generation Perini Navi sail handling equipment.
Work will continue on the second 60m yacht sold by Perini, a sloop scheduled for delivery in 2014.
At the same time, work continues apace on the Perini Navi/Ron Holland Design 40m fast cruising cutter due for delivery by the end of summer 2012.
