Ron joined the Canadian Lifeboat Institution for the 2013 Remembrance Day Function off the Royal Vancouver YC.
Two life boats were present, during the ceremony the Steveston Lifeboat and the new Fraser River Lifeboat. After RVYC, both vessels and their crews headed across English Bay to HMCS Discovery for lunch.
