RHD’s latest motor yacht design, the 46m Mazu will be making her debut at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Built by the Cheoy Lee shipyard in Hong Kong, Mazu is the sister ship to Marco Polo, which was launched in 2008 and is the latest RHD designed, innovative, yet stylish Trans-Ocean Explorer to be launched. Mazu looks set to be as successful as her award winning sister before her.
Combining fuel-efficiency, range and value with exceptional performance and sea keeping her thoroughly seaworthy hull has twin rudders and a bulbous bow. Her look; a mixture of practical and purposeful with a low maintenance silken finish suits her true Trans-Ocean role. Her range is spectacular, 6600 nautical miles at 10 knots from her 64,000-litre fuel tanks, and her carefully optimized hull-form allows cruising with 30% more fuel efficiency than any other similar size twin prop yacht in today’s market.
