International 6 Metre Worlds Vancouver 2017
I never planned on racing in a World Championship at 70 years of age. When I heard the International 6 Metre Worlds are coming to Vancouver, I thought, lets have a go flying the RNZYS burgee
As we line up to start the race, there are 45 boats from all over the world. Nuvolari is racing for New Zealand.
We finished 18th overall but manage 2nd in our Class, modern 6 Metres with no wings, no trimtabs and no black (carbon) sails.
